Abstract Details: Fictitious magnetic fields are created due to non-homogeneous strain-patterns in the graphene membrane. I will give a brief introduction to  the theoretical background, review scanning tunneling experiments on graphene-nanobubbles, discuss the limitations of those experiments, and finally present some preliminary results on creating strained graphene membranes for transport and scanning SET experiments.Click HERE for directions
