GRC mentors clinch top prizes at science fair

Congratulations to our Graphene center colleagues for mentoring  the following winning school projects at the recent Singapore Science and Engineering Fair (SSEF) 2013.

List of SSEF winning projects with mentors from GRC

GOLD:

• Project CH079  mentored by  Asst Prof Chan Yin Thai  (Chemistry)
• Project  CH022 mentored by  Dr. M.V. Reddy (Physics & Chemistry), Professor K.P.Loh (Chemistry) and Professor B.V.R.Chowdari (Physics)

Project CH022, one of  the top winner of  SSEF 2013 and above project, was chosen to represent Singapore in the INTEL International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) (http://www.societyforscience.org/isef). Intel ISEF is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition and will be held May 12-17, 2013 in Phoenix, AZ. USA.

SILVER:

• Project EB042 mentored by  A/Prof Peter Ho and Dr Png Rui Qi (Physics)
• Project EB046 mentored by  Dr. M.V. Reddy (Physics & Chemistry), Professor K.P.Loh (Chemistry) and Professor B.V.R.Chowdari (Physics)

BRONZE:

• Project CH015 mentored by  Dr. M.V. Reddy (Physics & Chemistry), Professor K.P.Loh (Chemistry) and Professor B.V.R.Chowdari (Physics)

MERIT:
